Counterfeit pastes are quite common especially in India
I made a video about not recommending Arctic MX-6 on YouTube and people lost their $#!t because clearly I was "wrong".
However, it is now clear that Arctic at least now knows about counterfeit pastes and doing this with their upcoming MX-7 pastes.
This was greatly needed as due to this reason I couldn't recommend MX-6 even from genuine sellers on amazon india.

Before replacing the thermal pastes, just clean fans on your laptops instead
As it says in the title. Most of the time it's just about lot of dust and debris in the fans instead of the thermal pase. DON'T REMOVE THE FAN MODULE. Just clean the fans by opening your laptop back-plate and - if possible - compressed air(either electric or pre-packaged), however I have not tested with these so do your research.

PTM 7950
Although great if comes with laptop, it's hard to find an original source.
You might think it's an original pad but you will only know if you use it for months. I have already done so and finally gave up. It's still great if it comes with your laptop/motherboard from brands like Lenovo. Don't replace them. But buying for yourself isn't recommended.
Note: If you can buy from LTT for a very expensive price, here's the link but I have not personally tested them.
Since we don't have a proper source for PTM. They can be fake PTMs and the only compnay I found can deliver fake PTMs or show fake deliveries, I am removing PTM 7950 from my recommendations.
Ebay, Ebuy7, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Amazon and third party websites are all littered with fake PTMs and you will never know when you do order it but once you have ordered it and tested for many many months.

DON'T BUY FROM EBUY7 also. They don't bother if the package is actually delivered or not but also the
quality has gone down and the PTM on their site now looks like fake.

WARNING: Even though you will hear
a lot of good stuff about PTM 7950 (including frome me), remember two things:
First: It's hard to get a genuine one.
Second: Storing PTM 7950 can ruin it if not applied. It might seem it doesn't affect you as you will
apply it immediately on arrival BUT if the stock you ordered was on hold for a long time can be terrible
as it happened once.
For this reason I took all videos down but then put them back up after further
looking into it.

50) comes pre-applied on many Lenovo's Premium Legion laptops. - Many people online recommend PTM 7950 including Linus who later started to sell it himself.
