    For Intel CPUs, include all three: CPU Core, CPU Package and CPU Top Core.
    For GPUs: Include memory temperatures and hostpot tempeartures also.
    Sometimes some data is not available in MSI afterburner so you need to show them with HWinfo instead. I personally use MSI afterburner only for FPS and framedata but use HWInfo for everything else but you do you.
21. TODO: Limit CPU clock in different power modes by registry. Slightly advanced stuff but really needed either to stop laptop overheating or getting more battery life. Follow this video in the meantime.

It's a good idea to benchmark your current system to know how good the laptop is performing.
Althought if you just wnat to play games, play them with the FPS benchmarks I showed above and that should be enough.

Do all tests in performance mode first without applying any overclocks or antyhing to get a base value.

Enable HWinfo's graph as that will help a lot and as stated above, don't block the vents.
Rememeber, the opearating tempareatuer of most laptops is under 35°C so don't expect best resulsts above thsi ambient temperature.

  File→ Select Advanced benchmarks first. This will open Minimum Test Duration.
  • Minimum test duration: Off→ This will be very high. Note it.
  • Minimum test duration: 10 mins→ This will be more realistic. The drop in percentage from above is what matters. The lower the drop the better the CPU is performingin this laptop.
  • Note down the scores and take a screenshot while the test was running for temps.
• Geekbench
  • This test heavily depends on what background tasks are running and what and how much RAM you have. This is the rason I dropped this benchmark completely.
  • Run both CPU and GPU(select dGPU) both benchmark on it and while coparing with

Goal: We want to know the CPU temps(Core, Core Max, Package), CPU Power draw and CPU Clock Graphs (Use HWinfo for these) while the stress tests are running.

• 3D Mark TimeSpy:
  You will need a Steam Account.
  • Download 3D Mark Timespy on Steam
  • Run the Timespy benchmark in normal mode.
    Note: Trying to show FPS and other data while running this test is very buggy so you might have to run it without those.

  • When you install Furmark it should automatically install GPU-Z which we will use to monitor GPU data. No HWinfo here.
  • Just download and run the test. After a few minutes take the screenshot.
