Missing Items from Alibaba Package Scam by India Customs and Post

The controller I ordered was: STK-7009F or Evofox Smartphone controller as it's rebranded in India: Alibaba Link(I ordered from here), Amazon Link. More details about the controller itself here.

Important Points

1. Always do a complete non-edited non-cut recording of the product showcasing all the details on the packet (You're not recording for YouTube so show every personal details) from the earliest you can to the complete testing of the package.
   1. Note: On some phones if you set the resolution too high they will cut the video into multiple equal parts. Combine those into one footage with Avidemux on PC, don't know for android, playstore is filled with scammy ads app that don't work.
2. Always change the seller's counter-response which is $0 with your full refund option.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because the seller says something else in chat and makes you feel he is working on it but through Alibaba's eyes they are asking you to accept no money.

Package was handed over like this with these little tampering marks on them:

Now before you say anything, such tampering is to be expected. This is not amazon where I should refuse delivery if the seal is broken. It is customs job to open the package up to assess the value of the product inside and impose any extra cost as they feel and/or check for anything that might be illegal. You can see it written here on the same packet:

What is not expected is inside the package, just stuff taken out of there.

Anyways, as I said in the Alibaba Ordering experience, always record a video of unboxing of the package unedited from the beginning to checking it. That video was all that was needed and it was hardly a few minutes job to get a refund. Here's the complete chat from new to old:

Again, you have to be careful if you're conversing with the seller as you can see here the seller said That there are no issues with the shipment and also that "ship the goods as agreed," now, you might wonder that this is weird and anyone won't accept it at all. Well there was a direct chat going on in which the seller wrote: 

As you can see that he is being friendly and all but the counter he has offered is "There are no issues with the shipment" which is a white lie even after showing him the proof.

That's all I guess.

Moaning about it

Frauds are everywhere, you have to be careful.

It's such a shameful thing when you're talking to a different country and have to explain to them that our Indian Government Officers and Post Office workers are thieves. In 2018 they used to just straight up keep the packet to themselves, that was my first job and I had ordered so much stuff from AliExpress back then and less than half ever reached me. Yes, they would simply keep the whole package. Later tracking was added even on smaller parcels and it was started being uploaded online then they started ripping the packet up and taking the item for themselves.

Honestly, the earlier one(no package arrived) was better because once you get a packet you start to hope that there is something inside it.

Also for international orders many people used to sell sarees and other ethnic items from India and ship outside. These fuckers would take out the sarees by cutting the package from the side. And hence they had to do a proper rope and tough packaging so this doesn't happen. As my Dada Jee used to say, "Sab nangta hain betichod."

I should remind you that if you take a look at the pictures below that they could have taken out the controller easily without needing to rip it apart. They already removed one side sticker, no, they are in such a hurry to tear all the package trying to find a treasure that they don't give a flying fuck, rip it apart, put it back with tape.

Also the thing is, Customs have to open the package to check but they are also supposed to seal it properly with "Checked by customs" tag which they don't follow and this happens.

Already we are paying so highly with the taxes and all and on top of this, this shit happens on a Air Parcel. You expect it from a normal package, you don't expect it on an Air Parcel that costs Rs.1000 for Rs.1600 worth of product.

Why wasn't the R36S stolen. All the mobile gaming sickness means whoever saw the controller inside knew at once what it was but might not have been able to figure it out with the R36S.

Also, on a plus side, the box smells really good.

Feeling Ashamed

After I got the refund I felt really really bad. He had shown me the package before sending and we were talking for a long time and his packing was spot on. I felt ashamed being an Indian having to explain to him that people in India like to steal stuff and get things for free especially in Government Offices. It is encouraged actually. If someone is in a government job and is not making black money, he is considered an idiot. I remember in a government office in central Delhi (mandi house station), the sweepers had a huge salary due to them being for a long time but I saw them taking all the soaps, bathroom liquids, tissue papers and everything home from there.

So, I asked the seller to create an empty order for the same amount and I will pay for it. He says this is not what they normally do and will take some time.
I have told them that I will just order another product but you don't have to send it. All this because I can't directly send money to him and even if I could, I probably won't. The government would start keeping an eye on money going to China immediately.
