It was ₹7,000 when I ordered 6/128 back in Aug 2025 without any offers from Flipkart

Summary/Important Points

My biggest concern in this price segment is an unusable phone due to lack of CPU performance, adequate RAM or Storage. Hence I stuck with 6/128 or more even in this segment.
And my second reason due to which I always made sure to get a more expensive phone was 1080p resolution minimum. I really thought it would bother me but for the few hours of testing it actually didn't.

Cautions

No cover or screen guard in box. Make sure to order them with phone or get it on the phone right away.

To confirm these later

Some apps notifications and the app itlsef can't be disabled at all like Game Centre and the stupid app store with it. This requires further investigation as I hadn't signed in with a Google Account yet.
What happens when many apps are donwloaded on this phone and this phone is used on a daily basis. This will require actual testing and we will hear about it in months probably.

Performance is similar to a Redmi Note 9 with Helios G85 Chipset.
The CPU Unisoc T7250 is equal to performance of a Mediatek Dimensity 7050 or HiSilicon Kirin 8000, and slightly lower than a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 or slightly better than Samsung Exynos 1280 when compared in Antutu V10.
Performance of this phone is a bit better than Redmi Note 8.
Charger inlcuded in box and charges at 15W even if internal app only shows 10W..
Don't see MI's usual bloatware anywhere and no 10 second warnings about unknown sources
OEM Unlocking was straight forward. Deveoloper Option was also enabled right away. No MI account sign in asked.
Lock Screen Wallpaper ad app can be uninstalled

Neutral-Doesn't Matter

No Screen Guard or Phone Cover in the Box. Get them atleast until you have warranty on the phone.
Speeds are of eMMC storage but that is expected at this price.
CPU Throttles to 80% of it's performance but again, that is expected at this price.
No physical proximity sensor but it works fine nonetheless.
No gyroscope but accelerometer is there. Compass works just fine though.

A few apps that can't be disabled at all
Display colors become darker when not viewing directly. Check this video.
Not a lot of customizations for the status bar. Couldn't even find the network activity in settings.
I ordered gold, got silver. Even on the packet it says gold so be ready to go for a replacement if you want a specific color. We needed it right away so kept it.
