I have seen this happen in my life so often at this point now. People giving advice for something that they have not experienced themselves at all. All the skinny people who have never had a bit of fat on their stomach giving me advice on how to lose weight. I think these things makes me want to question them at that point with something like, "Have you even been fat you old f***?"" but I don't do that obviously.
Or the classic ones, people who have never been in a relationship giving advice on how to deal with your relationship problem, just shut the f*** up, I don't want to hear it.
Or people giving career advice while they don't even know anything about that field.
Let me give you a prime example on how to deal with people who still insist you say something for things you have no idea about. A few weeks ago, a neighbor's kid asked me, "I am going to take Law. Do you have some advice?" My response was, "I have no idea about Law. I did my Engineering and have loved computers. Law is not something I can comment on but here is something for you anyways: Stop taking advice from people who have not done the same things themselves. If they have done it and you are sure they have done it, ask them, otherwise you don't."
If you
follow someone you will only ever reach to the point where they have themselves
reached. If you ask me for weight loss advice, I might make you fat since
thats all I ever did. I have always increased in weight apart from the time
when I had Typhoid and was living on Glucose. If you want to lose weight that
way, you can, just beware that there is a small risk that you might die.
On
the subject of weight
loss, I do have a bit of experience with fasting and I should write another
blog because this will start getting off topic. Heres the link to the other
blog: My Experiences with Fasting.
