Sale Data

Lenovo Laptop sale of over ₹3.1 crores ending in 2025 due to scam extensions and websites such as Honey exposed my MegaLag later but the damage was done, also, the PC parts market crash due to AI.

Note: ₹3.1 crores is the amount actually showing up in my affiliate account. Many of those companies intentionally didn't show the data and a lot of sales were offline where it was not counted so the actual number has to be at least 2x if not 3x this. I would estimate ₹10 crores between 2022 & 2025.
P.S: Yes, this is the reason I was not looking for a job between 2024 & 2026 and would not have had the PC market not crashed. upvote

AIEEE 2012 (Now called JEE-Main)

Rank: ~19,091 out of 11,00,000! (Top 1.7%)

Once in MAIT, I realized a lot of the first year syllabus encompasses the same syllabus that is asked in AIEEE too. Also, the "applied" laboratories of the college really helped me visualize things I merely read in a book like the sine wave of an AC signal or the spectrometer.

That really really really helped. So I decided to cut the syllabus to only things that were common in the first year of engineering and in AIEEE examination. Having already achieved 60,000 rank (Top 5%) last year, I was confident I can do this one at the very least.

So, that's what I did. I focussed on the 60% syllabus that were common and completely ignored the other 40% of the syllabus, and just practice, practice, practice.

I used to wake up very early, like 4am, study for the exam, and even during the classes I used to sit back and study the same subjects that I was in the class for.

I kept a 80% score and just focussed on the common questions and I went to give the exam and I got 19,091 rank which would have secured me CSE in NIT Goa and I would have gladly loved it, but...

The Biggest Regret of my Life: Filling in Civil when I didn't want to. The ripples of this wrong choice has been felt through the next 10 years!. Yes, and here is the reason everyone wonders how can someone so hard-working(I refuse talented word, I was never that, just hard-working) wound up like this!

Anyways, I still kept trying to go back to CSE throughout my career and that's what made a mess of my resume as you see it now.

Once again, after 10 years I am trying once again to get into CS jobs but this time really dropping everything else, including YouTube.

P.S: I got 117 marks in Physics out of 120 in both JEE 2012 and JEE 2011, Maths & Chemistry only bought negative marks.

AIEEE 2012 Result

💃

MAIT Rohini College (ECE) via GGSIPU 2011-2012

Got ~80% in the first year here while preparing for AIEEE again

Sem II Result

Can't find 2011 results or the admission papers at all.
However I remember calculating the percentages and it was ~80% if you take both semester into accounts.
P.S: The print is wrong on the top in the college name.

MAIT College Life 2011-2012 Review

Google Maps Review with pictures(edited to meet guidelines there, might get removed without question)

I was here 2011-2012 and only left because I got an admission in a much cheaper college (NIT Allahabad). The Chairman then really helped me in getting my papers from here back then.

Even though I am thankful, I should never have left!
Even thought this college is super expensive, it was a better choice for students who love technology(CS, IT, ECE). All my friends are now either in Microsoft, Mckinsey, AAI and other reputed institutions. The only who aren't are the ones who chose not to.

When you come from Bihar to a place like this, you are shocked at how helpful kids are when it comes to study. They do group studies, help each other out and try to lift each other up.

The teachers are even better. Without the teachers here I would not have been able to prepare for AIEEE while getting 80% in the first two semester here!

There are so many memories, from
→ the Lassi that Mother still talks about to this day which was being sold in front of the college main gate,
→ to the ₹15 Chola Kulcha outside,
→ to a teacher summoning my teacher because a couple had kissed in the cafeteria(while she was allowing me to give the External exam which I missed due to the AIEEE 2012 exam on the same day).
→ To the English teacher who kept circling : - for some reason
→ The younger Mechanics teacher who knew me as Gautam and him as him due to a proxy attendance mistake.
→ Our first Engineering Mechanics lab(!?) where me and Rahul were so excited we kept welding literally everything.
→ To almost all female teacher who I had a crush on except the English one. Here : - what are you going to do about it now?
→ To, the very very beautiful girl who I kept seeing and would definitely had asked out if I just kept seeing her another few years.
→ To me getting really sad because I didn't leave the first page blank in Electrical lab and the Ma'am felt really bad and gave me 10.5 out of 10. LOL
→ To the PG I lived in where Shubham was the only another first year, all others were seniors but they were super sweet to us both.
Few got mad with our results because we didn't fail anything.
→ To going out to evening walks because for the first time in my life, I had a small belly due to all the Chola Bhatora in PG.
→ To the bus stand just beside the college.
→ To that random senior who gave us a lift to the metro and the naive kids we were, tried to pay him. In our defense, he never cleared that he was a senior, but we were a bit of idiots too, I admit.

If I could go back in time, I would go back to this college and stick to it but it was just because of the huge fees that I even bothered with AIEEE otherwise I would not have.

I came through GGSIPU exam with around ~1600 rank.

"Hoping this remains as ONLY college memory even though it was just one year."

GGSIPU 2011 (IPU CET)

Rank: ~1600 out of 1,00,000! (Top 1.6%)

My Passing Year is 2011 also. I can't seem to find it but it was close to 1600, maybe 1604 or something. I actually took admission through this into MAIT through GGSIPU the last year.

I think I prepared for this exam in just a few days or weeks. I just got the previous year question papers, saw what kind of questions are being asked, make a small 2-3 page notes of important stuff and that was enough to land me in the top 1.6%.
Note: The best college college in GGSIPU wasn't open for outside Delhi quota as far as I remember, otherwise had I passed my Xth and XIIth from Delhi, I would have gone here.

📚

OJEE 2011

Rank: 125 out of 85,000 (Top 0.15%)

This was a trivial exam to prepare for after preparing for AIEEE. Remember, this is the same attempt in which I also gave my 12th examination.
Just the previous year questions, and attempted them a few times and I was very happy in the examination hall itself. I think there were 120 questions and I got almost all correct. Well, the rank speaks for itself.

P.S: Had I not filled GGSIPU, me and my sister both would have gone to a college inside Odisha and in the top ones and I am being honest, even this would have been much better than what came later in life.

XIIth or AISSCE Exam (CBSE)

12th Total: 74.4% PCM: ~80%

The local coaching that we went to ruined almost everything. Sure, there were a few good teachers who saw what I could do(NIT one said) but it was taking one teacher's advice and I actually stopped going to the institute so we(me and my sister) could focus on passing our XIIth, had we not done that, we really would have done miserably.

Should have taken Computers as my XIIth subject instead of Sanskrit.

📚

Xth or AISSE Exam (CBSE)

10th Total: 80.8%

We were studying in our parent's school and all we did was attempt the previous year questions and go through what mistakes we made.
I am being honest, apart from Mathematics and non-bio parts of science, I wasn't doing great.
I got 95 in Mathematics, I should have got 97. I am guessing the two marks were cut because of my handwriting.
