WD-Purple: Kept crashing to the point of checkdisk unable to save it because-- F! I didn't run checkdisk. This needs to be updated.
Samsungs SD Card: Crashed once, had issues but again, forgot running checkdisk. This needs to be checked again if something happens.
SD Cards might ask for reformatting when they really don't need it
If your SD Card suddenly says RAW on PC and PC and Phone both ask to format it, just running checkdisk on windows is enough to fix it.
I tried and tested this on 512GB Sandisk SD Card and no data was lost.
This happens because of multiple reads/writes on the SD card at once which it can't handle. Hence "just replacing lack of internal storage with external SD Card" isn't enough.
At higher capacities you should really start considering an NVME SSD and a USB HUB is possible.
